Shingleroof Campmeeting 2001
Information Page for the 2001 Encampment
Dates of 2001 Campmeeting: July 27th through August 2nd
The 2001 Shingleroof Campmeeting will feature the
preaching of Dr. Charles Carter, Pastor Emeritus at First
Baptist Church Jonesboro, Gary DeMore, Rick Statham,
M. Dudley Rose, Jay Hodges, Jack Bartlett, Bill Holt, Al O'Quinn and Paul
Leslie. Our host pastor will be Mack Riley of McDonough First United Methodist
Church and our song leader will be Steven Usry of the Harvest Point United
Methodist Church. Check back for more information on additional pastors
and our youth programs. Daily Children's activities at the pavillion will
again be led by Mrs. Monterey Thompson.
The Dining Hall will be fully staffed and ready
for you to enjoy some of your meals with us. Please make a reservation for
dinner to make sure that you have a place at our table.
If you need a campsite for your RV, please email us to check availability
of a site.
Shingleroof Campground is located 3 miles north
of McDonough, Georgia on Highway 155 at Campground Road.
WMVV 90.7 FM will be broadcasting some of our services again this year. And
we will once again broadcast the services on low wattage FM throughout the
campground.
Bring the whole family. Shingleroof is the place
for your family reunion.
There will be lots of good music featuring many
groups, choirs, and soloists from the community.
