Welcome to the first edition of Ms. Monte's Craft Corner! I hope you are as excited as I am to be on the world wide web! Every month that goes by I miss each and every one of you more. You change so much between campmeetings. You grow not only in size, but in your knowledge and faith in our Savior.

This Month's Project

This month we are going to make a Fall Pumpkin.

To make our pumpkin you will need the following items:

2 feet of dryer vent hose

Orange paint

6 inch stick

2 - 3 silk leaves

Paint brush

Stapler

 

Step One

Cut a piece of dryer vent hose approximately two feet in length when it is stretched out.

Step Two

Fold the dryer vent hose into a circle and staple the ends together.

Step Three

Paint orange. I recommend acrylic paint.

Step Four

Insert stick in middle hole, and mark where it reaches the opening.

Step Five

Glue, tape or wire the leaves above the mark that you made on the stick, and return it to the center of the pumpkin.

Your Pumpkin is now ready to use as a fun Holiday Centerpiece or Decoration.
